Welcome to Words About Work.
As the labor movement continues to expand its reach—both in the media and through its organizing—its important to stay abreast of headlines as they tumble through the noise of the internet. With the hiatus of Jonah Furman’s Who Gets the Bird, I thought I might do my part to try and fill in that gap.
For now you can expect a post on a weekly schedule, published sometime during the weekend each week. I’m hoping to add additional posts and commentary as time allows, but for now that’s the plan. There’s a metric fuckton of labor headlines coming from across all sectors, so if I miss something, send me a note and I’ll be sure to include it in the following week’s digest.
I don’t have paid subscriptions turned on currently, but you are more than welcome to pledge a subscription if you’re interested, in the off-chance I get subs turned on. For now, to get these digests to your inbox, hit the handy button below and drop your email in.
Thanks for reading.
Much love and solidarity,
Mel Buer
